Terms and Conditions for the CET English Proficiency Test

These Supplemental Terms and Conditions for the CET English Proficiency Test (“CET Terms”) govern your use of the CET English Proficiency Test (“CET”), operated by  PT. Ertina Jasa Inovasi  (“Company”). The CET Terms are supplemental to the  PT. Ertina Jasa Inovasi  General Terms and Conditions (“General Terms”). In the event of any conflict between the CET Terms and the General Terms, the CET Terms will take precedence for all matters related to the CET.

By registering for or taking the CET, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these CET Terms and the General Terms.  PT. Ertina Jasa Inovasi  reserves the right to amend the CET Terms at any time. Any updates will apply to all test-takers who register or take the CET after the changes are published.


Test Rules

PT. Ertina Jasa Inovasi  establishes and enforces rules for taking the CET (“Test Rules”) to ensure a fair and secure testing experience. These rules may be updated from time to time and will be communicated to you before you begin the test.

  1. Registration and Identification:

    • You must register using your full legal name and provide valid identification from an approved list.

    • Presenting false identification or using a name other than your own is prohibited.

  2. Compliance:

    • All test-takers must adhere to the Test Rules communicated before and during the test.

    • Any behavior deemed by  PT. Ertina Jasa Inovasi  to violate these rules may result in the invalidation of your test results, regardless of whether the results were previously certified. In cases of severe violations, you may be banned from taking the CET in the future.

  3. Appeals:

    • If your results are invalidated, you may submit an appeal within 72 hours of receiving notice. Appeals will be reviewed, and decisions are final.


Test Results and Validity

  • Score Validity:
    Your CET results will be provided in the form of a certificate (“CET Certificate”), which is valid for two years from the test date. After two years, your CET Certificate will expire and cannot be used for official purposes.


Refund Policy

  • Non-Refundable Payments:
    All payments for the CET are final. Refunds or credits are not provided for expired, unused, or partially completed tests, or for test sessions invalidated due to violations of the CET Terms or Test Rules.

  • Test Issues:
    If a technical issue prevents you from completing the CET or delays your results beyond a reasonable time frame,  PT. Ertina Jasa Inovasi  may, at its discretion, offer a refund, credit, or alternative resolution.

    • To request assistance for a test issue, you must:

      • Notify  CET  in writing within 24 hours of the issue.

      • Cooperate with the investigation by providing requested information.

      • Ensure you complied with all Test Rules.

    • Refunds will not exceed the amount paid for the test.


Promotional Codes

  • PT. Ertina Jasa Inovasi  may issue promotional codes for discounts on the CET. These codes have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for past purchases, and are subject to specific terms provided at the time of issuance.

  • If a code is sponsored by an institution (e.g., a university), you consent to  PT. Ertina Jasa Inovasi  sharing your CET data and results with the sponsoring institution.


Use Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Violate any Test Rules or cheat during the test.

  • Impersonate another individual or provide false information during registration or testing.

  • Share, alter, or falsify your CET results or CET Certificate.

  • Use multiple accounts to take the CET.

  • Send expired or invalid results to third parties.

  • Give unauthorized access to your CET account to any third party.

  • Copy, distribute, or misuse CET materials, including test content or software.

  • Use automated tools to extract data or interfere with the CET platform.

  • Engage in any behavior that disrupts or undermines the test’s fairness or security.


Software License

PT. Ertina Jasa Inovasi  grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use any software provided as part of the CET solely for the purpose of completing the test. This license is revocable at any time for violations of the CET Terms.


Limitation of Liability

PT. Ertina Jasa Inovasi  is not liable for decisions made by third parties, including employers, educational institutions, or immigration authorities, based on your CET results. The Company’s total liability for any claims related to the CET will not exceed the amount you paid for the test.


Privacy

Your use of the CET is governed by the  PT. Ertina Jasa Inovasi  Privacy Policy and the CET Supplemental Privacy Terms. By taking the CET, you consent to the collection, use, and processing of your data as described in these policies.


Ownership of Test Content

PT. Ertina Jasa Inovasi  retains all rights to test-taker responses, including written, audio, and video content submitted during the CET. This content may be used for research, quality assurance, and test development in accordance with the CET Privacy Terms.


No Third-Party Rights

These CET Terms are intended for the benefit of you and  PT. Ertina Jasa Inovasi . No third party has rights under these terms.


Termination

PT. Ertina Jasa Inovasi  may terminate your access to the CET at any time for violations of these terms. Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these terms will cease immediately. Sections related to liability, privacy, and ownership of test content will remain in effect after termination.


Injunctive Relief

You acknowledge that any breach of these CET Terms could cause irreparable harm to  PT. Ertina Jasa Inovasi . As such, the Company may seek injunctive relief in addition to other remedies without needing to prove damages.
